We stay in National Park an ideal spot to explore the best of the North Islands’ skiing fields and heaps of other activities. Our experienced guides can supervise students at all times on and off the mountain depending on your requirements and their age. Enjoy 3.5 days of skiing/snowboarding and all day tuition.

Package Includes

• 5 days (Depart Monday and return Friday), 4 nights dormitory style accommodation (girls and boys in separate rooms).
• Breakfast: cooked or continental every morning.
• Dinner: 3 course dinner every night (dinner at your own expense when in transit to and from Auckland). Lunch on the mountain is also at your own expense.
• 3.5 days of skiing/snowboarding. Including all lift passes, ski hire, snowboard hire and lessons. We cater for the beginner right through to the advanced.
• Full supervision on and off the mountain depending on your requirements.
• Other activities if the mountain is closed. (We are happy to pay $50pp for other activities. If the group decides to do an activity that costs more than $50 the extra money is to be paid by the student).
  
  

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Depart from Auckland city Monday 10am. Lunch stop in Otrohonga for 30 mins. Arrive in National Park around 3:00pm. Dinner at 6:30pm, movie and bed.

Day 2

Wake up 7am, breakfast at 7:30, depart for mountain at 8am. Skiing all day and return around 4:30pm. Dinner at 6:30pm, movie and bed.Other activities arranged if the mountain is closed.

Day 3

A repeat of day two, other activities arranged if the mountain is closed.

Day 4

A repeat of day three,, other activities arranged if the mountain is closed.

Day 5

More of day 2, 3 & 4 except we finish skiing at 12:30pm (half day). Depart National Park at 2pm. Dinner stop in Otrohonga for 30 mins. Arrive in Auckland Friday around 7:00pm.

 

General Information

• Tours leave Monday at 10am and return Friday around 7pm.
• Tours operate during the July and September/October school holidays.
• Very popular book early to avoid disappointment.

Bookings (Minimum Age 13)

Younger ages may be accepted if accompanied by an older sibling, mum, dad or guardian. We will also accept younger ages for school trips.

All students must complete a Student Registration Form and a Conditions of Booking Form. If you would like us to post them to you please let us know. They can then either be faxed or posted back to us.

These forms need to be signed by a parent or gaurdian whose kids are under the age of 18. You need to declare any medical conditions you may have as well as any disabilities. We also need to know about vegetarians and any food allergies you may have. If you need to see the menu for the week please contact us.

All our guides have their First Aid Certificates. New Zealand Surf ‘n’ Snow Tours has a thorough risk management plan in every vehicle, which covers the different types of risks; dangers, risk management strategies and emergency plan procedures.
